Snooze your team members' flow to-dos

Working with Gong Engage requires an Engage seat.

As a manager, part of your daily routine might involve keeping things moving while reps are away, especially during holidays or vacation periods when multiple team members are away at the same time. To prevent tasks from piling up and becoming overdue, you can set up timeframes for your teams or individual reps where their flow to-dos will be snoozed.

Managers, tech admins, business admins, and global admins automatically have permission to set up snooze time for other team members. To give anyone else in your company the ability to snooze flow to-dos for other users, ensure they have the necessary permissions in their permission profile.

What gets snoozed during snooze time?

During snooze time, the due dates and expiration dates for any flow to-dos will be automatically adjusted according to your selected snooze time. Any flow to-do with a due date on or later than the first day of the snooze period will be moved forward by the number of business days in the snooze period. When you delete snooze time, the due date and expiration date are moved back by the number of business days in the snooze period.

What doesn’t get snoozed during snooze time?

  • One-off to-dos (to-dos created by the rep)

  • Gong-recommended to-dos

  • Email reply

  • Meeting booked

  • Email bounced

To set up snooze time for your teams or reps:

  1. Go to Engage > To-dos

  2. At the top right, click Snooze

  3. Click Set snooze time

  4. Set the date range

  5. Select the teams or team members whose flow to-dos should be snoozed during the selected date range

  6. Click Save

You can always go back and edit snooze time once you’ve saved it, or duplicate it.

Once you create snooze time for team members, they’ll receive an email notification including who set it up and the date range. They’ll also get an email if you edit or delete the snooze time.

When you set snooze time for someone else, it’s automatically accepted. Team members can decline snooze time that was added for them via the To-dos page.

During a snooze period, each rep has an alert at the top of their to-do list reminding them that their flow to-dos are currently snoozed until the selected date.
