Admin center > Analytics assets > List views

List views are custom tables that control what users see when drilling into acount-related data in dashboard widgets, revealing detailed information for each account, such as CRM fields linked to it.

Once defined, a default view is selected per account-based metric, and the default can be overridden in individual widgets if needed.

Create a list view

  1. Go to Admin center > List views. The page lists all existing list views, including their names, descriptions, who last modified them, and the count of metrics and widgets using each of them.

    Note:

The list includes a preset Generic account view with commonly used fields. The view is automatically assigned to account-based metrics unless a custom view is assigned.

  2. Click + New view, give your list view a name and a description, and click Next.

    Tip:

Use descriptive names like "Prospect account info" or "Accounts with ARR info" so other Revenue analytics admins can easily find them.

  3. Choose which fields are included in the view by adding/removing columns.

    • Drag and drop columns to rearrange them.

    • Click column headers to sort the table.

    • Choose a sort field and direction to control the default order in which accounts will be shown.

  4. Click Save. The view is now available to be used as a drilldown view, by assigning it to account-based metrics and optionally by overriding the default in widgets.

Use list views for account drilldown

  1. Create/edit a basic metric, and set the base object to Accounts.

  2. Set the default Drilldown view from one of the list views you created. Hover over list view names to see which columns they include. If you can’t find a list view that suits your needs, click Manage list views and create one.

    Note:

For account-based metrics created before July 13, 2025, Gong auto-selected a generic preset list view.

Widget drilldown override

To set a drilldown view in specific widgets:

  1. Edit a widget and select a metric.

  2. Next to Drilldown view, you’ll see the metric’s default drilldown view. Hover over list view names to see which columns they include.

  3. Choose to override the view or keep the default. If you can’t find a list view that suits your needs, click Manage list views and create one.
