The AI Briefer helps you catch up quickly by generating structured summaries called briefs for your calls, deals, and accounts. These briefs give you the key information you need for handovers, executive summaries, meeting prep, and more.
This article shows you where to find briefs in Gong and how to get briefed from the homepage, account pages, deal boards, and calls.
Get briefed on accounts and deals
From the homepage

Select an account under Accounts AI.
Click Get briefed and choose a brief from the menu.
To customize the period or scope, click the
beside Generated for.
From the account page

Click Account AI in the top right corner.
In the panel that opens, you’ll see the default brief type set by your admin, or the most recent brief type that you viewed.
To view a different brief, click Change brief.
Choose a different brief type, scope (deal or account), or period, and click Get briefed.
From a deal board
Deals > Pipeline
To view a deal overview brief
Click on an account to open the deal panel and open the Briefs tab.
You’ll see the default brief type set by your admin, or the most recent brief type that you viewed.To view a different brief, click Change brief. Choose a different brief type, scope (deal or account), or period, and click Get briefed.
To view a deal risk brief
Click on an account to open the deal panel and open the Score tab.
You’ll see the default brief type set by your admin. This brief type is fixed, and can’t be adjusted.
From Engage*:
Engage > Accounts or Pipeline
Click Account AI in the top right corner.
You’ll see the default brief type set by your admin, or the most recent brief type that you viewed.
To view a different brief, click Change brief. Choose a different brief type, scope (deal or entire account), or period, and click Get briefed.
Considerations
Date range limitations
The AI Briefer supports preset or custom date ranges up to 1 year. Within that range, it covers up to 60 calls and 500 emails. If your selection exceeds this, not all conversations will be included.

When you open a call page, a default brief is displayed in the Briefs tab on the left.
To view a different brief, click the brief name and choose from the menu.
