What’s a funnel widget
Funnel widgets give team members a comprehensive view of how their deals progress through various stages of their sales process/es, so they can identify bottlenecks in the sales process, understand where and why they're losing potential sales, and adjust their sales strategies accordingly.
Building a funnel widget
To build a new funnel widget:
Select your dashboard, click +New widget, and select Funnel from the gallery.
Under CRM data:
Under Amount field, select the CRM field from which deal amounts are derived. For example: Exit ARR.
Under Team member field, select the CRM role associated with deals included in the widget. For example: Owner.
Under Date field, select the date field from which periods are derived. For example: Close date.
If you want to set some filters so only certain types of deals qualify to be included in the widget, under Filters, click +Add and set the criteria. For example: deal amount is greater than 30,000.
Under Funnel steps by stage, choose the CRM sales process stages (for example: New business, Renewal) to include in the widget.
Under Team and period, you’ll notice the team member and date fields are set to be dynamic and respond to whatever is selected in your dashboard. You can change them to fixed values.
Note:
If you select fixed values for the team member and period, the widget would no longer respond to selections made on the dashboard level.
Select your drilldown view: the deal board that opens up when viewers click to inspect the deals included in the widget.
When you’re happy with the preview result on the right, click Save.
Best practices
Be mindful of the selected stages
We allow selecting stages of different sales processes but advise you to be mindful when you do it, as it may affect widget output. Validate your selection and verify the stages make sense when put together in a single funnel widget.
