Company flow settings control policies on when and how contacts or leads can be added to a flow.
These settings determine:
Whether a person can be in multiple active flows at the same time
Whether a waiting period is required before a person can enter a new flow
How many days (between 30 and 120 days) after a flow to-do is overdue that the flow to-do will expire
These rules apply across all flows in your company.
Configure company flow settings
Go to Admin center > Settings > Gong Engage > Flow settings and set the following
Multiple active flows
Mark Allow contacts and leads to be in more than one active flow to allow team members to add a contact or lead to multiple active flows at the same time.
If you turn this setting off, contacts already in multiple flows will complete those flows. New contacts can only be added to one flow.
Note:
If you allow multiple active flows, you can’t enforce a cool-off period.
Flow cool-off period
Mark Require a cool-off period between flows and select the number of days the cool-off period should be.
This sets company policy for the number of days a contact or lead must wait after finishing or being removed from a flow before they can be added to another flow.
When the cool-off period is enabled, Gong blocks attempts to add a person to a flow if they are still within the waiting period.
You can set specific rulesets to ignore the cool-off period which allows adding contacts or leads to any flow with this ruleset even if they are still within the cool-off period.
Flow to-do expiration
Choose an expiry period between 30 and 120 days.
This setting lets you control how long overdue flow to-dos remain in the system, which helps keep task lists relevant and improves overall performance. Once a to-do passes the selected threshold, it’s automatically removed from team members’ to-do lists. This setting applies only to flow-generated to-dos. Manually created and Gong-recommended to-dos are not affected.
The default expiry period is 120 days. No action is needed if you want to keep this setting. If you select a shorter timeframe, any existing flow to-dos that exceed the new limit are automatically deleted when you click Update.
