Automatically send pre-call emails to external invitees 10 minutes before the call, reminding them about the call and its recording. The email is sent for all recorded calls, including those scheduled via Zoom or Gong. To enable pre-call emails, go to Company settings > Data capture > Recording Consent. Customize the email content by editing language, header, sender name, body, signature, and legal footer. You can also add your company logo and a link to the privacy policy. The pre-call email includes variables from the meeting invite. Preview or send yourself a sample email.
Automatically send pre-call emails to external invitees 10 minutes before the call, reminding them about the call and letting them know that it will be recorded. The email is sent for all recorded calls, including calls recorded with native Zoom recording, calls scheduled via the Gong homepage, and calls recorded by adding the Gong assistant.
To enable pre-call emails, click Company settings > Data capture > Recording Consent. Open an existing profile or add a new one and scroll to the Pre-call email section.
To edit the email content, click Show Settings.
From here, you can customize the language, email header, sender name, email body, signature and legal footer. You can also show your company logo, and add a link to your company privacy policy.
About variables
The pre-call email includes the following variables, populated with info from the meeting invite.

Meeting title | Displays the title of the meeting that triggered the email |
Meeting hour | Displays the hour of the meeting, in AM/PM time format, that triggered this email |
