See a call transcript

Article summary

View a transcript

Gong automatically transcribes calls in supported languages using our speech-to-text technology. Use call transcripts to review what was said in a call, search for key phrases, share sections with your colleagues, and more.

To view the call transcript, click the Transcript tab on the left side of the screen. This opens the transcript beside the video, so you can read along as you listen. Text is highlighted as the words are spoken, so you know where you are in the call.

Download transcripts

To download the transcript, click the action menu in the top right corner of the screen and click Download > Transcript. If you've translated the transcript, the transcript you download will be in the translated language.

About transcripts and languages

For calls in hyper-optimized languages such as French, Spanish and German (see the full list of hyper-optimized languages here), you can view an English translation of the call transcript, instead of the original language transcript. Learn more about translated transcripts

Collaborate in snippets in the read-along transcript

Collaborate with your colleagues directly from the call transcript. Select a text you want to collaborate over, and right-click to open the action menu which includes options to play, share, comment and more.

Tip: Improve transcript accuracy by adding common misspellings to the custom vocabulary based on pronunciation. Anywhere the misspelling appears in a transcript (per language), we’ll replace it with the correct term from your custom vocabulary.
