This works by defining one instance as a trusted account in the other. Your [Revenue Architect (RA)](/v1/docs/what-is-a-revenue-architect-ra) must enable and configure this feature before you can complete setup. ## Step 1: Check if trusted authentication is set up Before adding trusted account access to your team members, confirm that your RA has enabled the feature. You can check this from General settings. **To check the status:** 1. From the left sidebar, click **Admin center**. 2. In the **Settings** tab, click **General settings** under the **Company** card. 3. In the **Company profile** section, check the **Trusted authentication account** field: - If the field is empty, the feature has not been set up yet. Contact your RA to enable it. - If an account name appears (for example, ACME Global), that is your trusted account. Team members can log in to the other Gong instance with their ACME Global email. ## Step 2: Add the trusted account email to a team member Once trusted authentication is enabled, add each team member's trusted account email address to their profile. This lets them switch between instances without signing in again. **To add the trusted account email:** 1. From the left sidebar, click **Admin center**. 2. In the **Settings** tab, click **Team members** under the **People** card. 3. Select the team member you want to update. 4. In the **Trusted authentication email** field, enter the team member's email address. 5. Click the **Allow authentication via a trusted Gong account** toggle to enable it. 6. Click **Save changes**. Once saved, the team member sees the trusted account listed in their personal profile and can switch between instances without re-authenticating. A team member who manages and configures the Gong platform and handles CRM integrations, user provisioning, permissions, and system settings.
