Call snippets are short parts of a call that hone in on what's important. You can create a call snippet from the call timeline or the transcript, share it with colleagues or customers, or save it in the library. You can also use call snippets to:
-
Request feedback
-
Embed it into a 3rd party application
-
Create support tickets (if your system is set up with a Zendesk integration).
-
Create feature requests (if your system is set up with a Productboard integration).
-
Open a call and select the scissors icon from the call page. The snippet action menu is displayed and two yellow bars appear on the call timeline.
-
Drag the bars along the call timeline to the part of the call you need. You can also select the TRANSCRIPT button to read the call transcript as you drag the bars. The area selected in the timeline is highlighted in yellow in the transcript and is anchored by pointers. You can also drag the pointers to select the snippet. Your selection is synchronized as you drag either the yellow bars or transcript pointers.
-
Once you select the part of the call you need, choose an option from the snippet menu.
-
Open a call and click TRANSCRIPT.
-
Select the part of the transcript that you want for the snippet.
-
A menu will open over the selected part of the transcript. Choose whether you want to play, comment on, or share the snippet. Click More to reveal other options, including adding to the library.
