Connect to Zoom

Follow these steps to connect Gong to your Zoom account.

To connect Gong to your Zoom account successfully, you need to be a Zoom admin with the necessary Zoom role permissions.

Note

  1. The integration will disconnect if the person who sets up the integration stops being a Zoom admin later.

  2. The Zoom integration app (Gong for Zoom Meetings in the Zoom App Marketplace) can only be connected to Gong once per connecting user. If you have 2 Gong instances, go here to learn how to connect additional Gong instances to one Zoom account.

  1. In your company settings page, click Web Conferencing.

  2. In the Zoom row, click SETTINGS.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Follow the instructions: sign in to your Zoom account, and authorize access to Zoom.

When you connect to Zoom, we install a Gong integration app instance in your Zoom account, and ask for the following permissions:

  • View and manage all user meetings

  • View and manage all user recordings

  • View all users' Zoom Rooms information

  • View and manage all users

Tip

(Note the Gong for Zoom meetings app installed is not the same as the Gong app for Zoom which enables your Gong users to take notes in Zoom).
