Gong's call analysis identifies the language that was spoken on a call. If the language of a call is incorrectly identified, or if multiple languages were spoken in a call and you want the transcript to reflect a different language, you can reprocess the call directly from the call page.
Open the call and click the action menu ( ) in the top right corner. In the dropdown menu that appears, select Transcribe call in correct language and select the language you want the transcript to be processed in.
Please note the following:

Reprocessing can take up to 1 hour, during which time the call will be unavailable.

Reprocessing is not translating, and the call transcript will be in the newly selected language.

After the call is reprocessed, Gong will reapply its AI to the call, and related insights will be based on analysis in the new language.

If you see that Gong is consistently misidentifying your call languages, please contact customer support.
