Set what notifications Gong users in your organization receive by default. Note that they can always change these settings whenever they want.

Go to Settings > Notification settings.

In the Calls area, set notifications on calls:

In the Calls Summary area:

To send an email notification to all call participants after their call was processed, move the toggle to ON.

To send an email notification to managers when their team calls were processed, move the toggle to ON.

In the Daily digest area:

To send a daily digest of upcoming calls, move the Upcoming calls toggle to ON. The digest contains the day's call schedule and includes links to recent calls with the relevant prospects.

To send a daily digest for calls made, move the Calls from the previous day toggle to ON. The digest contains a summary of calls each team member made that day.

To send a daily digest to managers of their team calls, move the Team calls from the previous day toggle to ON.

In the Weekly digest area:

Calls from the previous week - turn on this setting to send a weekly digest for calls made. The digest contains a summary of calls each team member made that week.

Team calls from the previous week - turn on this setting to send a weekly digest to managers of their team calls.

The Team calls from the previous week setting is only available to managers who had team members analyzed, and active with external calls, over the previous week.

In the Comments area, set how individuals are notified about comments on their calls:
Note: You can set notifications to either email, Slack, or both. You cannot turn the notifications off.

Each person receives an email / is notified in a personal and private Slack channel called Gong when:

Someone comments on a call they follow

Someone mentions them in a comment

Someone replies to their comment

In the Deals area, toggle ON to send a weekly deals digest highlighting pipeline risk to subscribers and observers of deal boards.

In the Forecast area, toggle ON to remind people in Slack when their forecast is due.
The notifications are sent to quota-carrying reps and their managers, and managers above in the org. hierarchy.

In the Gong Assist area, toggle ON to send quota-carrying reps assists to help them stay on top of their pipeline.

In the Team area, set up coaching-related notifications:

In the Coaching area, toggle ON to send managers a weekly notification about team coaching opportunities:.

In the Director area, toggle ON to send managers of frontline managers a monthly notification on coaching metrics.

We'll send an email once a week for their first few weeks of using Gong.

In the Admin Emails area, toggle ON to send Gong admins notifications on issues regarding calls recorded natively by Zoom.

Select who your changes should apply to:

New users only - once set, the default settings are applied to anyone who joins your org. It does not override the current settings that were updated by individuals.

New and existing users - once set, overrides any customized notification settings and is applied to anyone who joins your org. Individuals can update their notification settings at any time.
