Note
Slack notifications are now available via Streams. If you've already created Slack rules, they will continue to work, but you can't edit them or create new ones. With streams, you automatically collect relevant calls as they happen, manage them in the library, and send notifications when new calls are added. Read more about streams.
You must be connected to a Slack workspace to create rules for Slack.
Note
To push notifications to a private Slack channel, you must first add Gong to the channel. Anyone in the channel can do this by opening the channel, typing "/Add apps to the channel' and adding the Gong app.

Go to Settings > Automation rules.

Click + Add Rule to display the create new rule page.

Set the criteria for the rule: Click
to change the filter according to your saved search.

In the Action line, click the down arrow, and select Send to Slack.

In the Rule name and description area, enter the name and a description of the rule.

In the Test rule area, select a call to test the rule with.
A call that fits the criteria is provided for the test. Click SELECT A DIFFERENT CALL and select a different call for the test if that’s what you want.

In the Rule status area, change the toggle to Enabled.

Click SAVE.
