One way to improve the accuracy of your transcript is by adding terms in your keyword trackers to your custom vocabulary. This makes frequently-used terms more recognizable to the transcript engine. When Gong recognizes an alternative pronunciation or transcription of a term in the custom vocabulary, it replaces it in the call transcript with the preferred spelling or format.
When you're tracking a term, we figure that it's important to your company, and so when we see a term in a keyword tracker that's not part of our lexicon or defined in the custom vocabulary, we'll offer to add it as a custom term.
TERMS: Help us better identify words and acronyms that are important to your business. You can edit the term when you save it.
CLASSIFICATION: Provide the context for the term in your company. Is it a general term, your company name, or the name of another company. For example, Airbnb would be classified as another company, whereas GDPR would be classified as a general term. This classification provides us with additional tools to identify the term based on where it appears in the sentence.
ALTERNATIVE PRONUNCIATIONS Enter alternative pronunciations and transcriptions for the term. If you have more than one alternative, separate it with a comma. Adding alternative pronunciations helps us improve the accuracy of your transcript. Anytime the misspelling appears, we'll replace it with the correct term from the custom vocabulary.
