Your access to library folders and streams is defined by your Gong admin, in your permission profile. Here, your admin defines which folders and streams you have access to, and what actions you can take to manage those folders and streams. Learn more about your permission profile.
Use Your Library to organize and share folders and streams with relevant team members and teams. For example, sales leads may want to:
-
Create a folder with sales sync calls for their team.
-
Share a folder with snippets of objection handling for a team member that needs objection handling coaching.
-
Share a folder with their manager with calls about recent wins the team had.
-
Create a folder for instances where competitors were mentioned (and how that was handled).
You can also create private folders with calls you don't want to share.
If you have the appropriate permissions, you can manage folders and streams in Your Library, for example, move, share or rename folders. Click the 3 dots (...) next to the folder you want to manage and choose an option.
You can easily keep on top of calls other team members want you to hear. You'll see folders with these calls in Folders shared with you.
You can add calls to folders shown here for yourself and for other users the folder is shared with, as well as the user who shared the folder with you. You cannot create folders under Folders shared with you.
The Company Library is a dedicated area to store calls you want all team members to access. For example:
-
You are the Director of Sales Enablement and want to share best-in-class calls for onboarding and training.
-
You are the VP of Product and want new hires across the enterprise to listen to calls that cover your product’s competitive edge.
-
You are the Director of Marketing and want to share your presentation on the new marketing strategy with your Sales and Customer Success teams.
If you have the appropriate permissions, you can manage folders in the Company Library, for example, move, rename or copy folders. Click the 3 dots (...) next to the folder you want to manage and choose an option.
-
Manually organize calls into logical bundles that make sense to your business. Use the folder management options in the library to manually organize calls, or use other tools, for example adding a call or call snippet to the library.
-
Automatically collect calls based on defined criteria using the Streams option. For example, create a stream that adds calls to a folder based on:
-
topics or words mentioned
-
participant or account names
-
the stage of the deal during the call
You can also customize streams so that people only see the calls that are relevant to their team in their streams. Learn more about streams.
-
Learn about what folders contain and who is using them. In each folder you’ll see:
-
the name of the folder
-
the number of folders and calls it contains
-
who created it
-
how many times calls were viewed over the past 30 days, and in total. (These numbers reflect internal views only.)
Click a folder to open it and see the calls that were added to it. In addition to listening to them, you can add a note about what you heard or how you want to follow up.
You can also copy, move or remove calls. In Your Library removing calls removes them from the folder, but the calls can still be accessed from the Conversations tab and other locations in Gong.
If you want to remove calls from the Company Library, you can archive them and later retrieve them.
