Gong Recruiting integrates with your calendar, ATS, phone, and web conferencing systems to automatically identify which external calls are interviews. We record and transcribe each interview, making it easy to give thorough feedback based on what was actually said, rather than on fuzzy memory and scribbled notes.

To get the most value out of Gong, from reality to collaboration, we recommend recording all interviews, including recruiter screens. That said, you may want to consider avoiding recording confidential or high-level requisitions.
Gong settings allow you to align the recording rules with how you typically schedule interviews in your organization.
We record interviews based on the following:
We scan the calendars of anyone set up in Gong for interview recording, looking for interviews
We check that the calendar event contains a link to the ATS (as invitations to interviews typically contain a link to the candidate scorecard)
We then check that the event includes an interviewer that is also a Gong user
We check that there are no interviewers that are set to “never record interviews”
The first time an interviewer is due to record an interview with Gong, we send them an email telling them what to expect.
We also support recording for when interviews are scheduled outside the normal flow, such as not scheduling via the ATS or when you want to record a particular interviewer with an interviewer set to “never record interviews”.
