Gong identifies actions you might want to take for each of your deals, called assists. In addition to the assists Gong suggests, you can add your own to-dos.
Use to-dos to set reminders for yourself, to plan your day, or to break down your next step for a deal into smaller action items. You’ll see a combined list of assists and to-dos you’ve added in Engage Hub main page and on individual deal pages.

Note that your to-dos are not synced with your CRM.
Aside from the tasks that are recommended by Gong or generated by flows, there are two places within Engage where you can create your own to-dos: in the Deals main page, and on individual deal pages.
To add a to-do:
-
Click Engage from the top nav bar
-
Below each deal's details and recommended assists, click
Add a new to-do and start typing
-
Hit Enter or click outside of the to-do to create it
-
Optional: Click When? to set a due date for your to-do

Whether you add a to-do from the Deals main page or an individual deal page, you’ll see the to-do in both places.
To dismiss a to-do, hover over a to-do and click the trash can on the right. To-dos can be reopened for 7 days after they’ve been dismissed. If they’re not reopened in 7 days, they’ll be permanently deleted.
When you’re ready, click the check mark on the left side of a to-do to complete it. To-dos can be reopened for 90 days after they’ve been completed. If they’re not reopened in 90 days, they’ll be permanently deleted.
Click on Engage from the top nav bar, and then select a deal to view a deal page. In the Things to do section, you can click on Show: Open to filter open, completed, or dismissed to-dos.
From any deal page, filter to-dos to show the ones you’ve completed or dismissed. Then, next to the to-do you want to reopen, click the arrow .
In Manager View, you can see the assists Gong is recommending to your reps for each deal, in addition to any to-dos they’ve added themselves. No need to worry about making changes to your reps’ data as everything in Manager View is view only.
