# Zoom Phone (SMS)

## Connect Zoom Phone (SMS)

Before you begin: Make sure for everyone you want to capture Zoom Phone text messages for, that **Import telephony system calls** is selected in their [data capture settings](/v1/docs/change-settings-for-a-team).

1. In Gong, click **Admin center > Settings** tab > **Data capture** **Telephony systems**.
2. Click **+ Add telephony system**.
3. Select **Zoom Phone (SMS)**.
4. Click **CONNECT**.

You are redirected to Zoom Phone.
5. Enter your credentials, and approve.

You are directed back to Gong. Zoom Phone (SMS) provides a token that Gong captures in the background.

You're now connected to the Zoom Phone API and sms will be captured. If this is the first time you've connected to Zoom Phone (SMS), Gong brings in the last three months worth of sms. If you're reconnecting to Zoom Phone (SMS), Gong brings in sms from the last sync date.

## Remove the Zoom Phone (SMS) integration

1. In Zoom:
  1. Log in to your Zoom account, and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click **Manage** > **Added Apps**, and locate **Gong for Zoom Phone (SMS)**.
  3. Click **Remove**.
2. In Gong:
  1. Click **Admin center > Settings** tab > **Data capture** > **Telephony systems**.
  2. Locate the **Zoom Phone (SMS)** tile, and click ![bin.png](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/24883255938189.png).
