# Troubleshooting: Why can't I see some deals?

> **Who can use this**: Any team member
>
> **Available on**: Gong Foundation

Learn why no deals are appearing on your deal board, a specific tab, or why a particular deal is missing. We’ll guide you through troubleshooting some common issues.

### Find out why deals are missing

> **Where to go:**Revenue > Deals

1. If your tab or entire board is empty, you can either:
  1. Click **Find out why**.

![No deals are shown due to filter settings; click to learn more.](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/Find out why deal board.png)
  2. From the deal board menu, click **Missing some deals?**

2. Go to your CRM and open a deal you think should be showing.
3. From the deal’s URL, copy the ID:

For example if the deal url is: https://gong.salesforce.com/0012v00002HlkT0AA

The ID is: **0012v00002HlkT0AA**

> [!NOTE]
> Note:
>
> CRM platforms may vary in the url structure. Make sure you copy a valid ID. Avoid copying entire URLs, account names, or deal names.
4. Paste the ID back into Gong and click **Submit**. We’ll tell you why the deal isn’t showing.

### Possible reasons that your deal isn’t showing

If a deal isn’t showing, it may be due to the following reasons:

****The deal isn’t synced with Gong yet****

Try refreshing the page. In a few minutes, if you still can’t see the deal, contact your admin.

****The deal is being filtered out by the board or tab settings****

Check the filters in the [board settings](/v1/docs/set-up-create-a-deal-board).

If you think it belongs in this board, or if you don’t have access to the board settings, contact your admin.

****The deal is being filtered out by your custom filters or groups****

Try adjusting your[filters](/v1/docs/pipeline-review-use-deal-boards) to show the deal.

****The deal is on a different tab****

Search for the deal to find out which tab, as explained above. If you think the deal belongs in the currently selected tab, contact your admin.

****The team member isn’t a member of the selected team****

At the top left corner of the board, select a [team](/v1/docs/team-hierarchy) that includes the team member associated with the deal (for example, the deal’s owner).

****The close date is outside the selected period****

For example, the deal’s close date is Aug 18, 2024, while the currently selected period is Q4, FY 2025.

At the top left corner of the [board](/v1/docs/pipeline-review-use-deal-boards), try selecting a period that includes the date associated with the deal.

****Everything matches, but the deal is still not showing****

It may be because:

- You don’t have[permission](/v1/docs/available-permission-settings) to view it
- It’s not associated with an [account](/v1/docs/pipeline-review-review-account-information)
- The user associated with the account isn’t a [provisioned Gong user](/v1/docs/provisioning-team-members)
- The user associated with the deal is set as [hidden](/v1/docs/available-permission-settings)

For further help, contact your Gong admin or [open a support ticket](https://contact.gong.io/hc/en-us/requests/new).
