If you don't see it, ask your Gong admin to check whether you have a seat and whether Gong Assistant is enabled for you. ****What data does Gong Assistant use on a call?**** The call transcript is the primary source, along with related account, deal, and participant information. Gong Assistant doesn't have access to calls or data outside the current call's context unless you ask a question that draws on account or deal information Gong has already captured. For account or deal questions, it can also use emails Gong captured for that account or deal. Which emails are available depends on your company's email capture settings and your access. ****What is the difference between starting from Search and starting from the Gong Assistant page?**** Search uses the calls in your active search results as context. On the Gong Assistant page, you choose the calls, folders, or streams yourself. Start from Search for a specific filtered set of calls. Start from the Gong Assistant page to combine calls from different places or saved collections. ****Can I ask follow-up questions?**** Yes. Gong keeps the context and your previous questions while the chat stays open. To start fresh, click the **New chat** icon at the top right of the panel. ****Why did my answer include calls I did not expect?**** Gong Assistant uses the context that was active when you asked your question. To check what it used: - From Search, review your filters. - From the Gong Assistant page, review the calls, folders, or streams you added.
