# View Gong email labels

Email labels are Gong generated labels that allow you to easily identify the status of a deal. This way, the key theme can be understood at a glance, without needing to search through lengthy email threads.

Gong’s AI model analyzes the email thread and automatically generates one or multiple email labels, highlighting the topics discussed. This time-saving feature helps you to quickly view the status of a deal. Email labels are displayed in both the [Account console](/v1/docs/view-and-manage-accounts-with-the-account-console)and in the activity tab of the deal panel.

## List of email labels

Gong currently auto-generates the following email labels (in bold), followed by the topics it covers:

- **Red flag**: [Red flag](https://help.gong.io/docs/using-deal-warnings#red-flag), reject
- **Pricing**: Pricing
- **+Contact info**: Personal info
- **Out of office notice**: Out of office
- **Scheduling**: Scheduling, invite sent, invite cancelled, invite accept, invite decline, invite tentative
- **Auto reply**: Auto-reply
- **Spam**: Spam
- **Payments**: Payments
- **Legal**: Legal
- **Meeting needs action**: Meeting needs action

Any team member can access this feature if they have the required permissions.
