# Verint

To integrate Verint with Gong, the Verint system must be configured to export recordings and metadata to Gong via an SFTP server.

This is done using Verint’s Engagement Data Management mechanisms and the “Interaction Data Export with Processing” feature. Refer to Verint documentation for specific instructions.

## Set up in Gong

1. Click **Admin center > Settings** > **Data capture** > **Telephony systems**
2. Click **+ Add telephony system**.
3. Select Verint.
4. Click **CREATE NEW CREDENTIALS** to generate sign-in credentials for the FTP folder.
5. Click **Show password** to see the password.

> You can only see the password once
6. Click **CONNECT.**

## Set up in Verint

1. Set “Interaction Data Export with Processing” to export the relevant telephony audio files.
2. Set the media type to WAV file.
3. Set the export destination to your customized Gong SFTP server, (found in the Verint settings page) using the credentials generated in Gong.

> The integration will work if your files are configured to be exported to the generic Gong SFTP server. New customers must use their customized server address.
