# Template FAQs

## **What is the maximum size for templates?**

The template body size can be up to 3 MB. This does not include attachments, but it does include in-line images and GIFs. The total size of a template, including attachments, can be up to 20 MB.

## **Is there a limit to the number of company and personal templates I can have?**

There is no limit to the number of company and personal templates you can have within Gong Engage.

## **Can I add images or GIFs directly to my templates?**

Yes, you can add in-line images or GIFs to your email templates by simply dragging and dropping an image or GIF into the body of your email template.

## **Can I add videos directly to my templates?**

You can’t add videos directly to templates, but you can add videos as attachments, The total size of a template, including attachments, can be up to 20 MB.

## **Who can create and manage personal templates?**

Technical admins can define which users can create and manage personal templates through the [available permission settings](/v1/docs/available-permission-settings) in their permission profile.

## **Who can share templates?**

The ability to share templates and duplicate personal templates into company templates is managed through team members’ permission profiles. Only users with the necessary permissions can share templates.

## **Who can see shared templates?**

Admins can view all personal content of team members in their organization, while managers can view personal content of users reporting directly to them. However, admins and managers cannot edit other team members’ content.

## **Can I edit a template that was shared with me?**

No, you cannot edit a template shared with you unless you duplicate it and save it as your own.

## **Can I archive templates?**

You can only archive templates from the **Shared with you** folder. Archived templates are not available for use when drafting emails or building flow email steps. You can restore archived templates if needed.
