# Talkdesk

As TalkDesk stores calls behind an OAuth wall for security, the integration requires that:

- TalkDesk call recordings be pushed to Salesforce as tasks by following the steps in [Logging Calls with the Salesforce CTI](https://support.talkdesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/216070123--Logging-Calls-with-the-Salesforce-CTI-).
- You sign in with a TalkDesk admin via Gong

## Talkdesk-Salesforce set up

Add the **Call Duration** field to tasks:

1. In Salesforce, go to your **Setup** page.
2. Under **Build**, search for and click **Task Page Layouts**.

3. Under **Action**, click **Edit**.
4. Locate the **Call Duration** field, and drag it to the **Additional Information** section on the layout.

5. Click **Save**.

After you start recording calls in Talkdesk, your Salesforce tasks should look similar to this:

## Gong set up

1. Click **Admin center > Settings** tab > **Data capture** > **Telephony systems**.
2. Click **Add Telephony System** and select **Talkdesk**.
3. Enter the **User Name** and **Password** to use to approve the integration. This should be a Talkdesk admin account.

The TalkDesk admin account must be able to access the Outreach Portal in TalkDesk, and all relevant recordings.
4. In the **URL** field, enter your Talkdesk URL.
5. Click **Connect**.
