Set up Salesforce custom fields

Where to go: Click Company settings > CRM > Salesforce In order to display all data you want to export to Salesforce, we need to define additional fields in the task or contact object and add them to the layout for that object. This can be done automatically by Gong if you install the Gong for Salesforce app, or you can set the fields up manually in Salesforce. To set up the configuration for your custom fields: In the Salesforce integration page, scroll down to the Custom fields section. Select whether you want automatic or manual setup for the custom fields. For automatic configuration install Gong for Salesforce. For manual configuration, create the fields listed below in the relevant objects and then add them to the object layout. Installing and activating the extension Visit the Gong Extension Chrome store page and click Add to Chrome . The Five9 integration works by utilizing Five9's export calls feature so that your calls are displayed in Gong. You set up the integration by generating credentials in Gong and entering them in Five9 to grant access to your Gong file system (where exported calls are stored). All team members Any Gong plan* Conversations > Search Upload calls to Gong when they're recorded by other tools (such as a telephony system). Benefit from analysis of each call, even though they are 1-track, and a copy of the transcript. The ability to upload calls is set in your permission profile . Sync calls and meetings to HubSpot

Tech admin Calls and meetings recorded and analyzed in Gong are exported to HubSpot as either a meeting, call or note object in a Company, Contact, or Deal. By default calls are exported as meetings. If you have already exported calls as one object and change to a different object, the existing calls are not changed to the new object. However, if calls already exported to HubSpot are re-exported, for example if you add a field to the export list, then those calls will be re-created as the new object. Note: It can take up to six hours to export Gong data to HubSpot. To export calls to HubSpot: You can choose whether to export conference call data, or data on calls recorded on a telephony system or both. Create consent profiles

Tech admin Company settings > Data capture > Recording consent Customize the pre-call email, consent page, and audio prompt settings for each profile. In the Recording consent settings page, click Add Profile or click an existing profile to edit it. Enter a Name and Description for the profile. Set the consent page options In the Consent page section, if you want to get consent to record before starting/joining the meeting, set the following: Consent page . Switch to On and click Show settings . This enables but does not enforce displaying the consent page before opening the meeting. Without enforcing the consent page, Gong may record meetings where consent was not explicitly given. Enforce use of consent page . Check to ensure Gong only records meetings where consent was explicitly given to record the call. If additional meeting links are included in the invitation, the call may not be recorded. This article walks you through the process of managing them manually. Note: If you use automatic provisioning , it's preferable to manage your team members directly from the IdP (identity provider) as any manual update may be overwritten when your IdP syncs with Gong. The team member table includes the name of the team member (1), seats assigned to them (2), their data capture settings (3), their home workspace (4), their permission profile (5), whether or not they’re technical admins (6), and their consent profile (7).
