The person who built the dashboard chose its widgets, so yours may differ from the examples in this article, but you review them the same way. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > KPIs based on forecast submissions require Gong Forecast. ## Review results for a team and period The team and period you select determine what most widgets show, so you can move from your whole team to a single rep, or to another period, without leaving the dashboard. **To review results for a team and period:** 1. From the left sidebar, click **Dashboards**. 2. Click the dashboard you want to review. **Note:** If a dashboard you expect isn't listed, it may still be a draft or not shared with you yet. Ask the person who built it, or your admin, to publish or share it. 3. Click the **Team** dropdown, and select a manager to see their team's results, or a rep to see theirs. 4. Click the **Period** dropdown, and select the period you want to review. 5. Review the widgets: **Tip:** In a team rollup widget, click a column header to sort reps by that metric. To switch between results rolled up by manager and results for each rep, click the **Teams** or **Individuals** icon at the top right of the widget. - **KPI widgets:** A headline number for the team and period, such as bookings or win rate. If the widget measures against a target, a progress bar shows how close the number is to that target. When a number looks off track, [open the deals behind it](/docs/review-your-team-s-performance#see-the-deals-behind-a-number). - **Team rollup widgets:** Each rep's results side by side, with a column for each metric. Compare reps to see who is ahead of target, who is behind, and by how much. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > Some widgets keep a team or period set by the person who built the dashboard, so they stay the same when you change **Team** or **Period**. To check a widget, hover over the information icon next to its title. On some widgets, the icon appears only when you hover over the widget. The tooltip says what the widget shows and names any dashboard selection it ignores, for example **Dashboard period selection doesn't apply**. ## See the deals behind a number Open the deals behind a number to see what's driving a rep's result and pick the deals to discuss in your 1:1. **To see the deals behind a number:** 1. From the left sidebar, click **Dashboards**. 2. Click the dashboard you want to review. 3. Click the number, progress bar, or chart bar you want to investigate. 4. (Optional) Click a column header to sort the deals. 5. Click a deal's name to open it. > [!TIP] > Tip: > > The deal list opens in a panel on the right of the dashboard. Close the panel to go back to your widgets. ## Frequently asked questions ****What do the colors on a widget mean?**** The person who built the dashboard sets the value ranges for each color. Green means a value is inside the range they marked as positive, red means it's outside that range, and yellow is neutral. Ask them, or your admin, what the ranges are on your dashboard. ****Why does the deal list include deals I didn't expect, or leave out ones I did?**** The deal list shows the deals the widget's metric counts. Whoever defined the metric chose the conditions for which deals it includes, and those conditions may not match the way you count deals. If the list looks wrong, ask your admin to check how the metric is defined. ****Why does a number open a list of accounts instead of deals?**** The list matches what the metric measures. A metric based on accounts opens a list of the accounts behind the number, not deals. Any team member can access this feature if they have the required permissions.
