Gong for Salesforce includes preset end-user permissions for administrators and users. This step is only required if you installed the app in admin mode, where permissions are managed with permission sets.

![image2019-2-4_10-22-54.png](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/24882941219469.png)

## Give the integration user permission to create contacts and leads

We recommend setting up a Gong integration user to manage permissions to your Salesforce data. If you enable certain built-in flows, the integration user will need permission to create contacts and leads. Update the integration user’s permissions to include the following:

- **Gong API User** permission set (included in the Gong for Salesforce package)
- Read/write on Salesforce contact and lead objects

This is necessary if the integration user doesn’t have **View all** and **Modify all** system administrator profile.
