# Manage configurable forecast boards

Manage boards lets you edit a forecast board, copy one as a starting point, or hide boards you no longer want in view. Choose the section that matches what you need to do.

## Edit a board

Edit a board to change its categories, cadence, or any other setting in the board builder. To edit a hidden board, unhide it first.

**To edit a board:**

1. From the left sidebar, click **Revenue**, and select **Forecast**.
2. Click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Manage boards**.
3. In the row of the board you want to change, click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Edit**.
4. Change the settings you need. Learn more about the settings in [creating a forecast board](/v1/docs/set-up-a-configurable-forecast-board).
5. Click **Save**.

## Duplicate a board

Duplicate a board to start a new one from the same setup instead of building it from scratch. Duplicate isn't available for hidden boards.

**To duplicate a board:**

1. From the left sidebar, click **Revenue**, and select **Forecast**.
2. Click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Manage boards**.
3. In the row of the board you want to copy, click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Duplicate**.
4. (Optional) Change the board name, which starts as **Copy of [board name]**, and any other settings you need.
5. Click **Save** to create the new board.

## Hide or unhide a board

Hide a board to take it out of view without losing it, and unhide it when you need it again. The Status column on the Manage boards page shows whether each board is Active or Hidden.

**To hide or unhide a board:**

1. From the left sidebar, click **Revenue**, and select **Forecast**.
2. Click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Manage boards**.
3. Choose what to do:
  - **Hide a board:** In the row of an **Active** board, click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Hide**.
  - **Unhide a board:** In the row of a **Hidden** board, click the **More actions** ![More actions icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T23%3A25%3A13Z&se=2026-10-29T00%3A25%3A13Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=J1lKa%2FRoiwAemFkO2f4DAjtDByqQb9wiQLergNcLXgE%3D) icon, and select **Unhide**.

Gong hides or unhides the board right away, without asking you to confirm, and shows a message when it is done.

## Frequently asked questions

****Can I delete a board?****

No. Forecast boards can't be deleted. To remove a board from view, hide it.
