## What’s a list widget

List widgets are account record list widgets based on predefined list views.

## Building a list widget

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:**
>
> This procedure requires [permission](/v1/docs/revenue-analytics-permissions) to manage revenue analytics

To build a list widget:

1. Select your dashboard, click **+New widge**t and select **List** from the gallery.

2. In the dashboard header, click ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/pencil_DS.png) to rename your widget and, optionally, +**Add description**.
3. Under **List**, select a predefined account [list view](/v1/docs/managing-list-views). If you can’t find the view you’re looking for, click **Manage list views**and create one.
4. After selecting a view, you’ll notice a default filter is applied to the widget, and the account’s owner ID is set to be dynamic and respond to whatever is selected in your dashboard. You can change it to fixed values:

> [!NOTE]
> Note:
>
> If you select fixed values for the team member, the widget would no longer respond to selections made on the dashboard level.
5. In addition to the Owner ID filter, you may add any [filter](/v1/docs/filtering-metric-deals) (**+Add filter**) that defines which accounts qualify to be included in the widget.
6. When you’re happy with the **Preview** results on the right, click **Save**.
