Automation rules make something happen automatically, saving you time and increasing efficiency. Once applied, rules are applied to upcoming calls, not existing ones.

We support the following rules:

- **Send data via Zapier to supported applications**

Zapier enables you to pick and choose which data to forward and to who via, for example, Slack or HubSpot. Include data such as user name, media type, user ID, opportunity name, account name, snippet, call URL, opportunity amount, scope, and snippet speaker. For more information, see [Zapier](/v1/docs/zapier).
- **Send data using webhooks***

Webhooks are often used to send data to other apps to automate tasks and workflows and combine the call data with other company data to see a fuller picture. The data includes topics, trackers, team member stats, and more. For more information, see [Create a webhook rule](/v1/docs/create-a-webhook-rule).
- **Automatically delete calls**

Delete calls based on the rule’s filters. For example, if you set a filter in which specific terms were said (or not said), calls in which those terms were detected (or not detected) will be deleted. **Once a call is deleted, it can’t be retrieved.** Note that speech-to-text conversions can be inaccurate, so calls that shouldn’t be deleted may be deleted, and vice versa. For more information, see [Create a rule to delete calls](/v1/docs/create-a-rule-to-automatically-delete-calls).
- **Automatically set call as private**

Set calls to private based on the rule’s filters. For example, if you set a filter in which specific terms were said (or not said), calls in which those terms were detected (or not detected) will be set to private. Once a call is set as private, the call host can make it public. For more information, see [Create a rule to set calls as private](/v1/docs/create-a-rule-to-automatically-set-calls-as-private).

A team member who manages and configures the Gong platform and handles CRM integrations, user provisioning, permissions, and system settings. [Find my Tech admin](/v1/docs/find-your-technical-or-business-admin).
