# Gong notifications in Microsoft Teams

Get real-time insights and alerts about your sales calls without leaving **Microsoft Teams**, using the Gong Notifications app. By connecting Gong to a Teams workspace, you can receive notifications about events in your Gong activities and share calls or call snippets with team members in your Teams chat environment.

Notifications are sent to a user’s personal Gong app in Teams when:

- They are mentioned in a call

To install the Gong Notifications app in Microsoft Teams, you'll first need to [set up an integration](/v1/docs/microsoft-teams-chat-integration) between Gong and Microsoft Teams Chat.

## Enabling notifications

To receive notifications when new calls are added to a [stream](/v1/docs/create-and-manage-streams), enable notifications in the stream’s settings. Go to **Conversations** > **Your library** > select your stream, and click **Edit stream**.

You can share calls or call snippets in Teams via the [Share call](/v1/docs/share-a-call) tab at the top right of the [call page](/v1/docs/intro-to-the-call-page).

A team member who manages and configures the Gong platform and handles CRM integrations, user provisioning, permissions, and system settings. [Find my Tech admin](/v1/docs/find-your-technical-or-business-admin).

A team member who manages the business entities in Gong, such as deal and forecast boards. [Find my Business admin](/v1/docs/find-your-technical-or-business-admin).
