# Customize your Account console view

> **Who can use this**: Business admin
>
> **Available on**: Gong Foundation

Customize the [Account console](/v1/docs/view-and-manage-accounts-with-the-account-console) view to control which account information your team sees in the **Overview** tab. You can choose which CRM, Gong, and AI fields appear in the **Account details** widget, set a default [AI brief](/v1/docs/catch-up-quickly-with-the-ai-briefer), and manage when changes go live.

Account view customization requires **Business admin** permission.

#### Before you start:

- Confirm the AI brief you want to use has already been published.
- Decide which workspace you want to configure if your company uses multiple workspaces, as each one can have its own view.
- You can open the account view customization experience from an account page, an account panel, or the Admin center. The steps below start from an account page.

> [!NOTE]
> Note:
>
> Once published, changes apply to all users and all accounts in the selected workspace.

## Configure the Account details widget

The **Account details** widget helps teams focus on the account information most relevant to their workflow. You can add Gong fields, imported CRM fields, and AI fields configured for your organization.

To customize the Account details widget:

1. Open an account page.
2. Click the **More actions** icon ![Action Menu.svg](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/MoreActions.svg), and select **Edit account view**.
3. In **Account console view**, select **Account details**.
4. Click **Add field**.
5. Select the fields you want to display.
6. Drag fields using the **Reorder** icon ![Reorder.svg](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/Reorder.svg).
7. Click the **Remove** icon ![remove.svg](https://cdn.us.document360.io/2837c190-3ec8-4120-9116-6d427e774667/Images/Documentation/remove.svg) next to a field to remove it.
8. Review the **Preview panel** on the right, to verify the field selections with real account data. The preview updates automatically as you make changes.
9. Click **Save** to keep the changes as a draft, or **Publish** to make the changes live across that workspace.

## Set the default AI brief

Setting a default AI-generated brief helps teams start with a consistent account summary whenever they open the Account console, and reduces the need to manually switch between briefs.

> [!NOTE]
> Note
>
> Only published account-level briefs are available to select as the default brief.

1. Open an account page.

3. In **Account console view**, select **Brief**.
4. **Brief**: Select the published account-level brief you want to use as the default.
5. **Period**: Select a preset time period or create a custom date range.
6. Review the **Preview panel** on the right to confirm the correct brief appears.
7. Click **Save** to keep the changes as a draft, or click **Publish** to make the changes live across that workspace.
