# Set permissions for Gong Forecast

After Forecast seats are purchased and allocated, it’s time to apply Forecast permission to relevant [permission profiles](/v1/docs/set-up-a-permission-profile) - for business admins to build boards and for reps and managers to view them.

## Permission to build forecast boards

> **Where to go:** Admin center > Permission profiles

To apply forecast board building and managing permissions to the profile:

1. Select the permission profile/s applied to business admins in your company.
2. Under Pages, select **Forecast** and **Manage the forecast board; assign targets.**

3. Under Forecast, select **ALL** in all options.

## Permission to forecast in Gong

> **Where to go:** Admin center > Permission profiles

As soon as team members are assigned permissions to forecast in Gong, they see the **Forecast** page under **Deals**.

To apply Forecast permissions to reps and managers forecasting in Gong:

1. Select the permission profile/s applied to reps and managers in your company.
2. Under **Pages**, select **Forecast**.

1. In **Forecast** > **View forecasts** and in **Forecast** > **Edit forecasts**:
  1. In permission profiles assigned to reps, select **Their own**.

  2. In permission profiles assigned to managers, select **People who report to them**.
