# Change password

## Password rules

Your password should be 12 characters or more. It can be any combination of letters, numbers, and symbols (ASCII-standard characters only), and must include at least 3 of the following:

- 1 uppercase character
- 1 lowercase character
- 1 digit
- 1 special character

## Change your password

1. Click your username and select **Change password**.
2. Enter your current password and your new password.
3. Re-enter your new password.
4. click **Change Password**.

## Why can’t I see the Change password option?

When single sign-on (SSO) is enabled (for example, using Google or Microsoft as an identity provider), the Change Password option isn’t available. In this case, your password is managed through your identity provider.

Any team member can access this feature if they have the required permissions.
