# Calculate the consent opt out rate

> **Where to go:**Admin center > Settings > Reports > Call Status

Calculate how many calls were not recorded due to participants who didn't give their consent via the consent page.

1. In the **Call Status** report page, select the team and timeframe for the report, and then click **EMAIL REPORT**.
2. Download the report that is sent to your email.
3. Filter the report for calls where "Consent Page Used" is "TRUE", and make a note of the number of calls.
4. Next, filter the report again for calls where:

Make a note of the number of calls in this filter.
  - "Status" is "ABORTED", and
  - "Skip Reason" is "COMPLIANCE_USER_REQUEST"
5. Divide the number of calls where consent wasn't given (i.e. that matched the filter in step 5) by the number of calls where the consent page was used (i.e. that matched the filter in step 4).

The result is the consent opt out rate. Monitor this rate over time to understand regular levels for your business.
