It's useful for when you want the team's committed numbers visible alongside other pipeline metrics. > [!WARNING] > Before you begin: > > This widget works with legacy forecast boards only. Configurable forecast boards are not supported. ## Step 1: Open the dashboard You add widgets from inside an existing dashboard, so start by navigating to the one you want to build out. If you haven't created a dashboard yet, do that first. **To open the dashboard:** 1. From the left sidebar, click **Dashboards**. 2. Select the dashboard you want to add the widget to. 3. Click **+ New widget** at the top right of the dashboard. 4. Select **Forecast rollup**. > [!TIP] > Tip: > > If you have a lot of dashboards and aren't sure where to find yours, see [Find and organize dashboards](/docs/add-a-forecast-rollup-widget-to-a-dashboard#) for guidance on searching, filtering, and navigating the Dashboards page. ## Step 2: Select a line of business and configure columns The line of business connects the widget to a forecast board, so pick the one that matches the team or business unit you're building this dashboard for. Once you've selected it, configure the columns to show the forecast categories that matter for this view. **Team members** is always the first column and can't be removed. If this widget sits alongside other metric-based widgets on the same dashboard, make sure the line of business settings and any metric filters are aligned so the numbers are comparable. For example, if your line of business includes opportunities of a specific deal type, any adjacent metric widgets should be filtered to that same deal type. **To select a line of business and configure columns:** 1. In the **Line of business** section, click the dropdown and select a line of business (the forecast board). 2. (Optional) Under **Columns**, click the delete icon next to any column you want to remove and **+ Add** to include additional forecast category columns. ## Step 3: Set the team and period The team and period settings scope the forecast submissions the widget displays. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** > > This widget supports fiscal date periods only, so if you're on a shared dashboard that uses rolling date ranges, the widget won't respond to those selectors. **To set the team and period:** 1. Under **Select team and period**, click **Team member is** and select a team. 2. Click **Date period is** and select a period. 3. Click **Save**. ## Frequently asked questions ****Why are some team members missing from the Forecast rollup widget?**** The widget only shows team members who have submitted a forecast for the selected line of business and period. If someone hasn't submitted, they won't appear as a row. Confirm that the relevant team members are assigned to the selected forecast board and that the period matches when submissions were made. ****Why does my Forecast rollup widget show no data after setup?**** The possible causes are: - The selected line of business uses a configurable forecast board, which this widget doesn't support. - No forecast submissions exist for the selected team and period.
