Manage AI Theme Spotter analyses to create them. AI Theme Spotter shows you what customers keep raising across many calls. It groups what they say into themes, and each theme comes with a summary and links to the calls behind it. Use it when you want to know which objections come up most, how customers react to a price change, or what product gaps keep coming up in deals. To open it, go to the left sidebar, click **Insights**, and select **AI Theme Spotter**. ## How AI Theme Spotter works To create an analysis, you pick a question you want answered and the calls to look at. AI Theme Spotter looks at what your AI trackers found in those calls and sorts it into themes. Open a theme to read its summary, see its sub-themes and quotes, and jump to the calls behind it. AI Theme Spotter only uses calls where an AI tracker found something. It does not use every call that matches your filters. For example, if your filters match 10,000 calls but the AI tracker found something in only 500, the analysis uses those 500. Filters that do not match what the tracker covers can shrink the results a lot. To start an analysis, see [Create a theme analysis](/docs/en/how-to-create-a-theme-analysis). An analysis can take up to six hours. While it runs, it shows as **In progress** in your list. ## Access and permissions These permissions control what you can do in AI Theme Spotter: - **Create an analysis:** You need the **Manage AI Theme Spotter analyses** permission. It also lets you rerun, rename, and delete analyses. You can create an analysis from **Insights** > **AI Theme Spotter** or from **Admin center** > **Agent Studio** > **AI Theme Spotter**. - **View an analysis:** You need the **AI Theme Spotter** permission, which is under **Pages** > **Insights** in your permission profile. Anyone who can create analyses can also view them. - **Turn a theme into an AI tracker, or write your own question:** You need the **Manage AI Tracker settings** permission. ## Analysis limits AI Theme Spotter limits how many analyses your company can run each month: - Your company gets 20 analyses a month, plus 3 more for every 60 seats. - The most your company can run is 30 analyses a month. - Each analysis covers up to 50,000 calls. - The limit resets on the first day of each month, in your company's timezone. The limit is shared by the whole company, not by each team member. To raise it, contact your Revenue Architect. ## Frequently asked questions ****Why do I need an AI tracker to run an analysis?**** AI Theme Spotter builds themes from what your AI trackers found, not from raw transcripts. A tracker reviews calls as they are recorded and builds up what it finds over time. With no published tracker for your question, there is nothing to analyze. Suggested questions based on AI trackers by Gong only appear once those trackers are published. To learn more, see [Create a theme analysis](/docs/en/how-to-create-a-theme-analysis). ****Why does my analysis show "Insufficient data"?**** The AI tracker did not find enough calls where your question applies. The calls that match your filters are not always the calls the tracker found something in. Try broader filters or a different question. Also check that the AI tracker is published and has been running long enough to find something. Your analysis appears in the shared list at **Insights** > **AI Theme Spotter**. Team members see the themes, but only the calls they already have access to. Any team member can access this feature if they have the required permissions. Gong’s core platform for gaining advanced visibility into your revenue operations.
